Tissot launches global advertising campaign

Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches Tissot, which is part of the Swatch Group, recently launched its new global campaign.

Along with print, Tissot has also released a short video on its YouTube channel that showcases its brand ambassadors explaining the campaign and its strong heritage.

The print campaign was shot by international fashion photographers, such as Chen Man, who photographed Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming in Shanghai, and Dusan Reljin, who captured race car driver Danica Patrick in Arizona, international basketball player Tony Parker in Texas and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone in India.

With 160 years’ expertise, Tissot has established itself as a leading watch brand in the international market. The ‘+’ sign in the brand’s logo represents its origin, Switzerland, yet through the new campaign, it has been used to exhibit the numerous qualities of a Tissot watch, as well as showcase the success it has enjoyed since 1953.

According to the Swatch Group’s 2013 annual report, the sales of its watches increased by 8.3 per cent last year, generating approximately $9.9 billion. Its net sales also surged by more than 8.5 per cent, reaching $9.5bn.
