Louis Vuitton guides tourists around the world

Louis Vuitton is adding six more city guides to its Destination Collection, which will be unveiled on October 15.

The Destination Collection is a series of city guides that offers an alternative outlook on each city, by presenting its readers with insights into small theatres, unknown parks and fascinating museums that tourists can visit.

Berlin, Istanbul, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore and Shanghai have been added to the collection, which already includes Paris, London, New York, São Paulo and Venice, among others.

The iconic French fashion brand’s existing Paris city guide – written by Frank Gehry, the architect who designed the Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation building – will be revamped and updated.

“Each Louis Vuitton City Guide recalls the philosophy of travel shaped by the House of Vuitton. Travel is an art with multiple facets; it requires an artist’s eye, among other senses, to dream up possibilities, gain perspectives and savour experiences. As for the art of travelling itself, it cannot be completely improvised, but must, instead, be organised and carefully constructed,” the brand reveals in a statement.

Each guide will also feature guest editors, such as designers and celebrities from the respective cities.

Whether you are a globetrotter or you want to be, the Destination Collection will add a touch of luxury when travelling the world.
