Harvey Nichols goes home-grown

Fashion Show.

The English department store celebrates local and regional designers in its outlets at Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.

From June 1 to July 15, several pop-up shows will be set up at Harvey Nichols, giving local designers the opportunity to showcase their products. This is a unique initiative, since it is known that global brands such as Harvey Nichols tend to focus on the international brands.

Harvey Nichols will be featuring works from regional sensations such as Zena Presley, All Things Mochi by Ayah Tabari and Dee by Dalia.

Characterized by its bright and traditional embroideries, All Things Mochi was founded by Ayah Tabari, a Dubai-based designer. The brand gets its inspiration from different cultures and blends ethnic embroidery techniques from countries such as India, Hungary and Uzbekistan with modern cuts and silhouettes.

Zena Presley is a Dubai-based designer who will showcase her debut collection this summer at Harvey Nichols.  The brand’s style has been perfected by working with designers from around the world and the result is stunning. Unique prints and patterns are the highlights of Presley’s collection. Her eye for details and her love for cultural diversity are what make this collection unique, offering pieces that will fit any summer wardrobe.

Inspired by vintage pieces, butterflies and ballerinas, Dee by Dalia combines modern cuts with vintage concepts, offering timeless collections to the public.

Anthropology and IAMMAI by Anthropology of Design, as well as Faissal El-Malak will be showcased in the Harvey Nichols pop-up this summer.
