Land Rover goes convertible
The British car manufacturer releases its first convertible SUV, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible.
The first compact premium convertible SUV in the world, the new model combines the design and refinement of the Evoque with cutting-edge equipment and a sophisticated system to create a convertible for all seasons.
The Range Rover Evoque Convertible has been designed to respect the brand’s tradition and, thanks to its exceptional structural rigidity, this SUV guarantees a remarkable level of safety.
One of the many impressive features on the vehicle is the roof, which can be deployed in 21 seconds at a speed up to 48km/h.
Raising the standard of connectivity for the brand, the Evoque Convertible boasts the latest InControl™ Touch Pro. This system allows the passengers to control the music volume, A/C temperature and many other features through a 10.2 inches touchscreen.
“Range Rover Evoque Convertible is a vehicle for all seasons. Its uniquely distinctive design and world-class engineering adds another dimension to the Range Rover family, further enhancing its desirability and appeal,” says Gerry McGovern, Land Rover design director and chief creative officer.
The global SUV market is forecast to grow by 20 per cent over the next five years and Evoque Convertible will play a key role in continuing Range Rover’s 45-year success story, pioneering an all-new SUV sector.
The new Range Rover Evoque Convertible will go on sale across more than 170 markets worldwide as of Spring 2016.
