Tod’s launches new advertising campaign

Italian luxury brand, Tod’s – part of the Tod’s Group, which reported an increase in sales revenues to $1,353 million in FY 2013, a 1.7 per cent growth from 2012 – launched a new advertising campaign to celebrate its iconic Gommino collection.


The collection of moccasins, known as the Tod’s Gommino, combines classic Italian style with a practical shoe that can be worn on any occasion.

Inspired by the driving shoes used in the 1950s, the well-known feature of the shoe is the sole covered with 133 rubber ‘pebbles’ in the same colour as the shoes’ leather.


Tod’s, who reported totalling $799m worth of sales in FY 2013, an increase of 1.5 per cent from FY 2012, uses leather chosen from the finest tanneries around the world for the Gommino shoe.

The campaign, photographed by Bruno VanMossevelde, styled by Micaela Sessa and art direction by LDF has been released internationally and will be used for Tod’s spring-summer 2014 collection.
