Hugh Jackman features in new Montblanc international campaign



Montblanc has released its new global campaign, featuring Hugh Jackman, the face of the brand, following the announcement of the same during the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva last January.


The campaign, which includes Jackman sharing his stories of inspiration and dedication, takes the viewer on a journey driven by the actor’s desire to keep breaking new ground, just like the Montblanc Meristerstück pen.




Directed by Martin Campbell, the director of two of the James Bond movies; Golden Eye and Casino Royale, Jackman gives his unique insight into his personal trajectory in the new campaign film.


The film opens with the actor writing down his thoughts with his Meisterstück pen, and continues by the film following him from Sydney to New York, and ends with the film portraying the pens as story tellers, not the user.




In the print campaign, shot by photographer Nathaniel Goldberg, Jackman is caught in action backstage at a ceremony, using the pen and in conversation, while wearing the brand’s watch. Through the images, Goldberg has used his trademark photographic technique of framing his subject with a blurred surrounding, playing with refined light settings.


Jackman appears in both print and online advertising globally for the brand.
