Fifty per cent of affluent shoppers expects luxury brands to have websites, reveals UK-based digital agency Punkyduck.

Although half of wealthy shoppers anticipates luxury brands to have mobile and e-commerce facilities, only one in five luxury brands offers these services, reveals an infographic released earlier this year.

The research not only proves that the internet trumps magazine, TV, radio and newspaper when it comes to purchasing luxury goods and services, but that consumers are also interested in becoming part of a brand’s online community.
