Jumeirah Group en-route to Measa expansion



The Jumeirah Group’s expansion plans for the Measa region is well under way with the appointment of senior vice-president of development, Aboudi Asali.

“Jumeirah’s growth strategy is focused on expansion into the Measa (the Middle East, Africa and South Asia) region and Asia, in particular,” says Robert Swade, the global hotel chain’s group chief development officer, in a press statement. “Aboudi’s extensive experience of the market in the Measa region and his engagement in some of the most significant recent deals gives Jumeirah an unrivalled opportunity to attract a wide range of potential development partners and build a strong pipeline of future openings.”

In a career spanning 23 years across the US, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the British national has worked with Marriot International, Aprio Hotel Advisory Services on projects such as the Inter-Continental Dubai Marina, Sheraton Juba in South Sudan, Steigenberger Hotels and Morgans Group.
