Global gold & jewellery fair makes Dubai home

A new gold and jewellery exhibition comes to Dubai.

The gold and jewellery industry figures gather at the Dubai World Trade Centre to celebrate the inauguration of Vicenzaoro Dubai.

Dedicated for the gold and jewellery’s business community, the Dubai-edition of the global fair brings in more than 500 exhibiting brands from over 20 countries. These include Italy, India, China, Blegium, Switzerland, Germany and Turkey, among others, who constructed international pavilions housing their local companies.

Global brands showcasing their latest collections of high-end jewellery, gold, platinum and silver, in addition to the purest diamonds, pearls and other  precious and semi-precious stones and metals, in addition to other players from the industry are present at Vicenzaoro Dubai.

In addition to the exhibiting brands, Vicenzaoro’s programme includes seminars, fashion shows and other networking opportunities, which coincide with the Dubai Diamond Conference which concluded on Wednesday.

Previously held in Venice, the global exhibition is now based in Dubai, and has been jointly organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre and Fiera di Vicenza, the Italian-based global fair, dating back to the 1600s.

The city had been waiting for the opening of Vicenzaoro Dubai, which concludes on Saturday, for around six months, since the two parties announced it at the opening of the Middle East Gems & Jewellery 2014 Forum, last November.
