iPhone 6 and 6 Plus get 24K gold treatment

As if Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launches were not celebrated enough, global luxury tech manufacturers are unveiling outrageously premium versions of both devices.

British brand Goldstriker International offers customers iPhone 6 and 6 Plus that are fully embellished in 24K gold or with a choice of either 18K rose gold or platinum. There’s also an option to have the Apple logo on both devices studded with diamonds.

Meanwhile, Feld & Volk is another brand that’s expected to bring out its best version of the Apple iPhone to date. Its iPhone 5S is available in Pure Gold (made of 35 grams of the metal), Wood (made of Karelian birch), and can even be personalised to a specific country as a part of its international range. Although the iPhone 6 can be pre-ordered via its website now, official images have not been released yet.

Los Angeles-based couture design and manufacturer BRIKK is launching the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in 24K yellow gold, 950 platinum and 24K pink gold, with an additional option of a diamond-studded Apple logo. Available in white, black, original silver and original grey, the devices are currently available to order online.

Priced anywhere between $2,500 and $9,000, luxury design and tech brands are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to cashing in on Apple’s large and technically niche customer base.
